| Configure Windows Small Business Server 2003 by completing the tasks on the To-Do List. |
| Manage messaging and collaboration in Windows Small Business Server 2003. |
| Manage and monitor Windows Small Business Server 2003. |
| Install or upgrade to Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition. |
| Configure Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition. |
| Secure a Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition network. |
| Manage Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition. |
| Expand a Windows Small Business Server 2003 network. |
| | Course Prerequisites | Before attending this course, students must have:
| Sharing folders. |
| Stopping and starting services. |
| Working with the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). |
| Creating and managing user accounts. |
| Assigning permissions. |
| The purpose and some of the implementations of Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) services such as Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DCHP) (although students will not need to know how to implement these services in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment). |
| Working knowledge of Active Directory directory service. |
| Working knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs). |
