Public Training Course - Taught Live OnLine
Training Description
The latest version of USB, USB 3.0, is ten times faster than high-speed transfer rate in USB 2.0 (480 Mbps). SuperSpeed USB operates at a transfer rate of 4.8 Gbps. USB 3.0 maintains backward compatibility with USB 2.0 at the device level and the system level. Major modifications were made to the specification including more efficiently using the bandwidth. Device polling is eliminated by using asynchronous notifications. Drastic improvement in power management has been made in USB 3.0. This USB 3.0 Architecture technical training course will focus on a brief refresher of USB 2.0 and all of the changes and new features in USB 3.0.
