Training Description
Learn how to apply project management concepts, methodologies, and principles to your projects while preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam. Also identify your strengths and weaknesses in each core domain, process group, and knowledge area.
Training Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Apply sound project management practices using the PMBOK® Guide, tools/techniques, and organizational process assets.
- Recognize and understand how the five process groups, nine knowledge areas, and forty-two processes interact with each other and the project environment.
- Recognize your strengths and weakness in each domain, process group, and knowledge area.
- Obtain 35 hours of project management education and submit your application for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential.
- Prepare for and take the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification exam.
Audience
This course is for individuals who have experience in project management practices and would like to obtain international recognition as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Prerequisites
Project Management Professional (PMP®) Eligibility Requirements:
- High School diploma, associate’s degree or Global equivalent, 5 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
- Bachelor’s degree or Global equivalent, 3 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
