Training Description
This online technical training course is designed to help you prepare for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification examination and applies the principles, methodologies, and theories used for project members, teams, and participants. CAPM Exam Prep training utilizes information, facts, and figures from “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK® Guide) - Fourth Edition and established best practices from the Project Management Institute (PMI®).
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Eligibility Requirements:
- High School diploma, associate’s degree OR Global equivalent
- 1,500 hours of professional experience OR 23 hours of Project Management education
Audience
This course is for individuals who are or will be working on projects and would like to learn a standard-based approach to project management and to obtain international credentials and recognition as a Certified Associate in Project Management CAPM.
Training Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Identify the roles and responsibilities for project associates and utilize the processes, inputs, outputs, tools and techniques used during the project management process
- Recognize and describe the five processes groups, nine knowledge areas, and forty-two processes utilized in projects and project management.
- Utilize the PMBOK® Guide, best practices, organizational process assets, and the tools and techniques for successful project contribution and completion.
- Obtain 25 hours of Project Management education and apply for your CAPM credential.
