Notify me when Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks Part 2 Self-paced Training Course is available!Training Description

This course, part 2 of a two part series, is designed to enable you to optimize a converged network in a Cisco Network. In this course, the student will learn how to optimize QoS (quality of service) in converged networks that support AutoQoS provisioning using DiffServ technology, such as configuring, verifying, and implementing NBAR classification, QoS Pre-classify, PQ, CQ, WFQ, CBWFQ, LLQ, and CB-WRED, and so forth. You will also learn how to optimize WLAN QoS (quality of service) in wireless networks and to apply wireless security solutions using enhanced 802.11 WEP security features and mechanisms, such as utilizing the various EAP solutions, and managing WLAN traffic flows.

Exam Name: Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (ONT 642-845)

Series Catalog: The Optimizing Converged Cisco Networks (642-845 ONT) is a qualifying exam for the Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP®. The ONT 642-845 exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills in optimizing and providing effective QOS techniques for converged networks. The exam topics include implementing a VOIP network, implementing QoS on converged networks, specific IP QoS mechanisms for implementing the DiffServ QoS model, AutoQoS, wireless security and basic wireless management.

Training Objectives

As a result of taking this course, you will be able to:

  • Optimize QoS (quality of service) in converged networks that support AutoQoS provisioning using DiffServ technology
  • Identify possible custom classification, queuing, and other QoS network configurations for their organization
  • Optimize WLAN QoS (quality of service) in wireless networks
  • Apply wireless security solutions using enhanced 802.11 WEP security features and mechanisms
