Overview and Agenda 

The PCI-SIG DevCon is designed to help companies develop and bring to market exciting new products utilizing PCI technology. PCI-SIG DevCon 2007 continues that tradition by featuring the latest series of technical training sessions presented by PCI-SIG Workgroup chairs and other PCI experts.

This year's event will bring Workgroup Chairs and other PCI-SIG experts to Germany.  All individuals working to develop PCI Technology will want to attend this immersive training opportunity.  Presentations will cover a wide range of PCI Technology--from basic PCI to PCIe 2.0, all levels of PCI experience will be addressed.

Dashcourses and Virtualization

In additional to Dashcourses PCI Express courses Dashcourses has two new courses in the area of Virtualization.  The foundation course, Computer Technology and Virtualization, provides a detailed overview of processor virtualization techniques including benefits and limitations.  It serves as a system level introduction to virtualization providing a solid foundation on how and where virtualization can be used.  Class examples will be demonstrated using PCI Express™ I/O Virtualization technology. The use of virtualization in areas such as data centers, telecommunications and embedded technologies and other industries will be discussed.

Computer Technology and Virtualization serves as an introduction to Dashcourses’ PCIe I/O Virtualization course. Using the knowledge from this course as background the PCIe I/O Virtualization course drills down deeper into the new techniques defined by the PCIe I/O Virtualization specification. Single or Multi Root capabilities are explained and examples provided on how this technology can be applied.
