Course Length - 5 daysDescriptionThis course applies the concepts, methodologies, principles, and theories used for successful project management and completion and helps students prepare for the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Exam. It utilizes the information, facts, and figures from “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” (PMBOK Guide) and established best practices, tools and techniques from the Project Management Institute (PMI). You Will Learn To- Identify your strengths and weakness in each of the six testable domains (Initiating the Project, Planning the Project, Executing the Project, Monitoring and Controlling the Project, Closing the Project, Professional and Social Responsibility) on the PMP® exam.
- Recognize and describe the five process groups, nine knowledge areas, and forty-four processes utilized in projects and project management.
- Utilize the PMBOK Guide, best practices, tools and techniques, and organizational process assets for successful project management and completion.
- Obtain 35 hours of project management education and apply for the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
Prerequisites Project Management Professional (PMP) Eligibility Requirements: - High School diploma, associate’s degree or Global equivalent, 5 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
- Bachelor’s degree or Global equivalent, 3 years project management experience and 35 hours of project management education.
