The course introduces AquaLogic Service Bus. After taking the class, students will be able to design and configure many of the key SOA infrastructure components. - Create a WebLogic ALSB development domain
- Comprehend the role of an ESB in SOA

- Use Eclipse/WorkSpace Studio
- Design ALSB proxy and business services
- Apply error handling techniques to ALSB
- Perform complex message routing in ALSB
- Create data transformations using XSLT, MFL and XQuery
- Utilize service callouts within message pipelines
- Identify the role played by ALER in a SOA
- Store and retrieve service meta-data in ALER
- Perform impact analysis using ALER
