This workshop takes the students through a step-by-step process for assessing the current processes and recommending improvements. Management has stated their commitment to improving the software development process. Now the challenge becomes how to effectively implement and manage the process improvement. The first step is for management to emphatically demonstrate their commitment to process improvement. Management must also decide how to: manage the process, set realistic goals, overcome resistance to change, secure buy-in, and sustain the momentum.
